EILEEN’S BAR

As part of a newly established cocktail bar in the heart of Surry Hills, Eileen’s Bar (named after the mother of one of the Founders) I was tasked with developing brand hierarchy, guidelines, uniform, menus and stationary for the venue.

I.W.S.C WIN

The innovative nature of the brand led to an amazing achievement of International Gin Producer of the Year 2019. The challenge was to create a piece of design that led strongly into the bold statement of the win, remained interesting and creative in the design, and was adaptable to the several different shapes and platforms it was intended for.

FOUR PILLARS

AUSTRALIAN
CHRISTMAS GIN

Working with internationally renowned artist Lucy Dyson to develop her nostalgic impression of an Australian Christmas brought to life as Four Pillars Australian Christmas Gin. Developing the artistic direction across all campaign photography, leading trade marketing design assets, packaging design and designing the retail visual merchandising display launched the most successful 360° product launch to date.

Lucy’s artwork was created by hand with cut out elements from vintage Woman’s Day magazines which called for a printing embellishment that would do it justice. The final label was printed offset, uncoated onto Tintoretto stock with a gloss high build on the white boarder, and a matte high build on several of the shapes and elements connecting to the crafted nature of the design.

BOTTLED NEGRONI’S

An age old drink, rejuvenated through the lens of a modern Australian brand. This project was about leading a team of designers, shop fitters and production teams, to create a 360° brand experience involving packaging design, retail window displays and brand merchandise elevating modernity, and emphasising the unique nature of each individual bottled Negroni through a clever use of vibrant colours and relative restraint.

HAND SANITISER

During the uncertain times of Covid-19 Four Pillars were asked to lend a hand, to help out the hospital staff, anaesthetists, nurses and chemist workers along with many of our loyal gin enthusiasts to make a World Health Organisation compliant hand sanitiser. It was a great pleasure to design and produce these two labels, and have them feature in news broadcasts across Australia.
